FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Anakin is a tall, broad shouldered young man who favors dark, loose fitting clothing. He doesn't talk much, but always seems to be observing, and he carries himself both confidently and purposefully. When he's in a good mood, he usually has a playful smile, but when he's in a bad mood his eyes are dark. There is a feeling of general pressure around him when he's angry even to those that can't see auras and the like. For those that can, his aura is hot and blinding, a little like the sun at midday. His speech is a little slow, almost deliberate, and sometimes sounds like he's not used to hearing himself talk. He does a lot to try and communicate nonverbally, and has very expressive body language.

SHARD

Anakin's Shard is a star-shaped ruby with a swirling pattern of colors that's vaguely shaped like a galaxy. This shape is only visible under the starlight. He generally keeps it inside himself, inside his right breast, but if he has to have it out, it's always in his hand.

ASPECT TATTOO

Anakin's Exalt tattoo is on his left shoulder. It's small and unobtrusive, not really anything to write home about.

PERSONALITY

Anakin Skywalker is someone who feels deeply, a man who is relentlessly determined and recklessly selfless. He is a person who cares deeply about the people around him, and he's willing to brave any danger to protect them. He has dedicated himself to the ideals of the Jedi and the Republic, and despite his recklessness he was deeply committed to those ideals. Anakin is bold, willful, and terribly impatient, traits that have gotten him into a whole lot of trouble with his peers. Outside of stressful situations, Anakin is curious, playful, and deeply kind. His early life as a slave to latch on to anyone that was truly kind to him, and also left him with a need to fight for the freedom of others. He's not the kind of person who uses the authority he has to force others to do things, something that probably stems from his childhood. Despite his penchant for showing off, Anakin isn't the kind of person who really seeks the adulation or company of others. He'll socialize, but he's more introverted than his cocky persona might imply.

BACKGROUND

Born a slave on a backwater planet at the edge of nowhere, Anakin is the product of miraculous birth as he has no father. He was discovered by a group of Jedi Knights and whisked away for training due to his powerful innate abilities. His first mentor died shortly after, and he was taken under the wing of the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi was both a brother and a father figure to the boy, and Anakin grew up within the Jedi Order from age 8. The Jedi, warrior-monks and wizards, trained him in all manner of things, and he attained the rank of Knight shortly before the outbreak of the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. He fought in innumerable battles, always leading from the front on the ground or at the vanguard in space, as a general and flight-wing commander. Known for unorthodox tactics, he became a popular symbol of the Galactic Republic during the war, and eventually was given an apprentice of his own: Ahsoka Tano. Anakin and Tano worked side by side until Tano eventually left the Order due to a conflict with it's leadership, while Anakin remained, right up until now.

ABILITIES & SKILLS

Mental Powers

Anakin is able to sense the presence of other sentient minds nearby (within 100 yards or so) him, providing him a general idea of where people are, but not precise. He is also able to pick up on emotions fairly easily, and read surface thoughts with concentration. People he has a deep bond with he can sense over vast distances, such as knowing Obi-Wan was on Geonosis while he was in orbit. He can also sense massive disturbances in the Force, such as a large loss of life or a huge battle.

His mental powers also give him a limited influence over the minds of others, particularly those of weak will. The "Mind Trick" is a pretty well known aspect of Force Users, enabling him to implant suggestions into impressionable minds. The same is true for animals. This ability I would make at-player discretion and mod discretion for NPCs. It would err on the side of never working on player characters, I believe, and only limitedly on normal NPCs.

Precognition

All Force-Users have a kind of danger sense, letting them feel possible dangers, which is how they are able to block energy beams with laser swords. In practical terms, this is the kind of thing that would come up in combat threads with a lot of discussion with the other party. Anakin's precognition is fallible, or he wouldn't have lost a hand.

Anakin has an extra kind of prescience, often having prophetic dreams that warn him of upcoming danger. This is typically fleeting, coming in the form of unclear visions and possible futures, such as visions of seeing his wife dying in childbirth. RP-wise this is a power I'd see either removed entirely, or used to exclusively foreshadow pre-planned events for flavor.

Telekinesis

Anakin is a master of moving things with his mind and creating bursts of telekinetic energy. In canon he is shown grabbing a small spacecraft out of the air and ripping it open in a matter of seconds, with only minimal effort. He's able to lift massive rocks, large pieces of industrial equipment, and other heavy things and throw them around, but he's also shown as being good at fine control. He can choke people out with it, create barriers to block projectiles like a shield, capture energy in a bubble for a limited time, throw his lightsaber like a boomerang, and even push back at attacks in close quarters to block. With the power restrictions in game, he'd be nerfed to be in line with that, limiting the size of the collateral damage he could cause. No bringing down entire stone towers, etc, and moving particularly large things would require a lot more effort on his part.

Force Body

Anakin is capable of infusing his body, and the bodies of others, with the Force. In practice, this means Anakin is able to make himself inhumanly strong and fast in short bursts, moving fast enough to keep pace with a running horse, or lift a small speeder (a car, basically), or to jump great distances. Using the Force this way is tiring, and he can't keep it up forever. He's good at this, but he's hardly tireless.

He can also use this ability to heal people in a limited capacity, using the Force to push out toxins or speed natural healing in himself or others. He's not the best at this, but he's capable of doing it with great effort.

Energy Powers

Force Users like Anakin also possess the ability to manipulate energy, either drawing it from the Force or absorbing and redirecting it. He's shown to be able to absorb heat and laser blasts, and even briefly block a lightsaber blade with his hand with preparation. He's also able to throw around bolts of Force Lightning, though that requires special care on his part due to his cybernetic hand.

Non-Force Abilities

Anakin is, probably irrelevantly on Kenos, one of the finest pilots in his universe. He is also an incredibly talented duelist with melee weapons, able to use both hands effectively to wield lightsabers and other swords. Anakin is noted to have a masterful understanding of machines and electronics, making him a good mechanic and engineer. He has commanded troops on some of the harshest battlefields in his Galaxy, and he is known for being a battlefield commander that favors audacious and bold tactics that inspire loyalty in his men. Finally, he is an effective teacher. Which sounds weird, but he has had success teaching both Force abilities to Ahsoka Tano, and tactics and strategy to normal people he had to work with.
